石向东
石向东，1967年出生于广西。1990年毕业于广西艺术学院美术系雕塑专业。2001年毕业于法国巴黎美术学院雕塑系主任托尼·布朗教授主持的雕塑创作训练班。2002年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系同等学历研究生班。现为广西艺术学院美术系雕塑教研室主任，广西美术家协会副主席，中国美术家协会会员，中国雕塑学会会员，中国工艺美术家协会雕塑艺委会理事。
主要展览及艺术活动：
1993年 “第三届全国体育美术作品展”，获特等奖，作品被国际奥委会总部收藏。
1994年 “第八届全国美术作品展”，获最高奖，北京。
1995年 “美国佛蒙特艺术中心国际艺术家作品影视展”，美国。
1996年 “第四届中国当代艺术文献展雕塑作品展”，成都。
1999年 “第九届全国美术作品展”，北京。
2000年 “冲突与选择——第二回当代青年雕塑家邀请展”，杭州。

Shi Xiangdong, born in Guangxi Province in 1967, graduated from the Department of Sculpture of Guangxi Normal University in 1990, studied under Pro. Tony Brown in Fine Arts Academy of Paris in 2001. In 2002 he received the Master’s Degree of China Central Academy of Fine Arts. Currently he is the director of Department of Sculpture of Guangxi Normal University, vice president of Guangxi Province Artists Association, member of Chinese Artists Association, member of China Sculpture Institute. Awards: the Special Prize in “National Sports Exhibition”, 1993; the Top Prize in “The 8th National Fine Arts Exhibition”, 1994; the Award of Excellence in “The 1st Beijing International Sculpture Exhibition”, 2002; the Excellence Prize in“The 10th National Fine Arts Exhibition”. 2004.
